The Stages of Being a Fangirl 😍😁🙀 Only Hard Core Fans Can Relate to ...

So there's a band, actor, or other celebrity that you're totally obsessing over right now. Well, you don't call it, "obsessing", but your friends and family do. What's so wrong with obsession though? It just means that you're passionate about something or someone.

And being a fangirl is actually tons of fun.

But did you know that are certain levels to being a fangirl? Perhaps you're just a low key fangirl, or maybe you're totally beyond all that amateur stuff and are already on the road following your favourite person/group.

Check out the seven stages of being a fangirl and see which one you can relate to.

1. Stumbling upon Them for the First Time

This is when someone sends you a link of an awesome band, singer, movie trailer etc, or you're casually browsing YouTube and you see something that catches your eye. You click on it, and BAM! your entire world has just been turned upside down.

2. Researching What They're All about

This entails an intense Google search, listening or watching every single thing said-person/group has ever made and falling deeper in love every single second.

3. The Obsession Begins

This is when you compulsively keep up with little every detail of the person/group in questions' life. That includes who they're dating, how many children they have, what they like, where they grew up - the whole nine yards.

4. Creating or Joining a Fan Club

This could be a group or page on Facebook, an online forum, or even a weekly/monthly meeting between friends where you can further increase your love for whoever it is you're a new-found fangirl of. After all, these celebrities deserve your time and respect.

5. Defending Your Idol from Online Trolls and Negative Comments

This is when someone says something bad about the person/group you're fangirling on and you just won't tolerate it. You're the first person to call out any internet trolls or people that say hurtful things about your favourite person/group.

6. The Fangirl Phase Fizzles out

After some time, growing up, and everything in between, you realise that you haven't made as much time for your idol as you did in the past. You return to their music or videos and the feelings just aren't the same. You've - dare I say it - kind of outgrown them!

7. The Cycle Begins Again - You Find Someone New to Fangirl over

Just then, another person or group catches your eye and you're like, "Hold up! How did I ever live my life before hearing about this person/group?!" And so the vicious cycle of being a fangirl begins again.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with being a fangirl.

In fact, it tends to give your life purpose and an extra sparkle. Plus, it inspires you to be your best self.

I mean, where would we be today without Justin Bieber, One Direction (sob, when are they getting back together?!!), and all the other influential people that grace this beautiful Earth?

Having said that, it's definitely time for me to find a new group to be obsessed with. Any suggestions?!
